Privacy policy
Updated: Jun 10, 2026
CracksHash is a reference tool, not a platform. It does not require accounts, does not run advertising networks, and has no interest in building a profile of your browsing. This page sets out exactly what happens when you use the site.
Data the server logs automatically
Your web server sends a request log entry to our infrastructure for every page load. This includes the requested URL, an anonymised IP address (last octet zeroed), your browser user-agent string, and a timestamp. These logs are retained for 14 days for security and capacity planning, then purged. They are not correlated across sessions.
Aggregate performance measurement
We run cookieless, server-side analytics to count page views and measure Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP). No personally identifiable information is stored. No cross-site tracking pixels or third-party analytics scripts are loaded. The raw page-view totals we see look like "the VLC page was viewed 412 times this week" — not "user X viewed these five pages."
No cookies, no fingerprinting
CracksHash sets no cookies. There are no session tokens, no preference stores, and no browser fingerprinting scripts. The site functions identically with cookies blocked.
Download links are external
When you click a download link, you leave this site and land on the vendor's own domain (or an official mirror). What happens after that click is governed by the vendor's privacy policy, not ours. We do not embed trackers in download links.
Data requests and corrections
Questions about the data we hold, requests for deletion, or reports of inaccurate information: [email protected]. We respond within five business days.
