About CracksHash

CracksHash is a curated Windows software directory built on a single premise: if you can't name the version, confirm the file size, and link to the official vendor page, the tool doesn't belong in the listing. That sounds obvious. Most software directories don't do it.

What "verified" means here

Every listing in the directory goes through the same checklist: download from the official source, install on a test Windows machine (10 and 11 both tested where relevant), record the exact version and file size at the time of listing, and verify the download URL resolves to the vendor's own domain or a mirror they explicitly endorse. If a tool bundles an optional toolbar or third-party offer, we say so in the listing notes.

What we list

Freeware, open-source software, and legitimate trial editions of commercial tools. We don't list warez, keygens, or activator patches — the name "CracksHash" is a historical artifact of the domain, not a product description. The site is about trustworthy software, full stop.

Editorial policy

We don't take payment for listings, placement, or reviews. Developers are welcome to submit tools for consideration — submissions go in the same review queue as everything else, and inclusion is never guaranteed. No affiliate links on download buttons.

Corrections

Software versions change, download URLs move, and we miss things. If a version number is stale, a link is dead, or a listing has an error, use the contact page and we'll fix it within a few days.
